Ouaddou has a mammoth task ahead as the Gallants try to beat relegation in the Betway Premiership.
The former Moroccan international joined the team at the end of February, succeeding Dan Malesela.
Ouaddou’s time at the club got off to a good start after the team shocked Orlando Pirates, beating them 2-0 over the weekend.
Despite walking away with the win, there is much work to be done as the Buccaneers had the upper hand on ball possession.
“They had the possession, but the most important is to know what you want to do, to know your target, and how you want to do it.”
– Abdeslam Ouaddou, Head Coach – Marumo Gallants
He says the win gave the team a lot of confidence, but the road ahead is long, as they aim for consistency.
The most important thing for the club is to take away as many points as they can this season.
“The task is not easy, but we have quality players… we have to save the club [from relegation].”
– Abdeslam Ouaddou, Head Coach – Marumo Gallants
