Kaizer Chiefs continue to struggle through another season, going into year 10 without any silverware.

The former Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns player believes it's due to a lack of forward-planning in Naturena.

“Right now they [Sundowns] are playing for next season… they’re already finding combinations because it's safe to say the league is almost gone. It's not about the league anymore, it's about finding the right players… they’ve always been ahead.”
– George Lebese, Former Footballer
“Kaizer Chiefs is just playing for this season, they’re trying to survive this season… if they can have players that are going to represent the club for years to come, I think it’ll be better.”
– George Lebese, Former Footballer
“It’s very disappointing from my end… I understand the players are giving it their all, but it's just not working.”
– George Lebese, Former Footballer
