Via his YouTube channel and his thought-provoking newsletter, For Better or Worse, Suli's work resonates with those navigating the complexities of love and life.
He joined CapeTalk's Sara-Jayne Makwala King to talk about his latest book, The Book You Wish You Had Read Before Marriage.
It's a piece of work he says, inspired by his own experiences throughout his 10-year marriage.

For his own part, Breaks admits that saying 'I do' was a lot more work that he'd expected.
"I didn't know how hard it was going to be... I think the 'happily ever after' is a misconception."

While Breaks doesn't dismiss the idea of 'happily ever after' altogether, he says what he's realised over the years is that a successful marriage doesn't just happen overnight.
"What cinema and media told us was that 'happily ever after' is a destination, when it's a journey... a very long journey that you're constantly building on."
