The BMW M5 is plug-in hybrid with all the bells and whistles.
It's makers claim that it's able to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 305 km/h.
The hybrid model has a pure electric range of 70 km and has a plug-in hybrid V8 twin-turbocharged petrol engine.
Page feels this car is the typical example of the future of hybrid cars.
“This car once again made me confident that hybridisation is probably a big part of our future.”

Page says the M5 is incredibly fuel efficient, using only 1.2l per 100 kilometres for an entire day of driving.
“It would have been lower if I did not want to show off a little bit.”
