Mourners are gathered at the Grassland Community Hall to bid their final farewells.

Buys is one of the three constables who died from a car accident after the vehicle they were travelling in plunged into the Hennops River.

The three police officers were on their way from Bloemfontein to Polokwane, Limpopo, for deployment.

She was with Cebekhulu Linda and Boipela Senoge in the car that was later discovered in Centurion in late April.

The three constables were given an official funeral, with Buys being the last to be buried.

Tsholofelo Phongoma said she will miss her friend dearly.

“Keomogetwse was a bubbly person. Although she was someone who kept to herself, she used to like staying indoors. She also loved her mother dearly. They had a good relationship. Every time I visited her, she was with her mother.”
