CAPE TOWN - The Democratic Alliance (DA) in the Western Cape said it is deeply disturbed by the gun violence gripping Cape Town.
On Thursday, two teenagers were shot and killed in separate incidents in Mitchells Plain.
On Sunday, a man was killed and two other people injured in a shooting in Gugulethu's NY111.
A woman's body was also discovered in an abandoned structure in Heideveld on Sunday.
The DA's Mike Walters said these senseless acts of violence have once again highlighted the grave threat that crime continues to pose to communities.
"We want to firstly express our deep condolences for the victims of these terrible crimes. The DA will definitely not let this matter rest."
