Water to be restored in parts of Johannesburg following emergency repairs
Areas supplied by the Soweto, Commando, Randburg, Roodepoort and Deep South systems have been affected.

Rand Water confirms that the water supply is expected to be restored to most of Johannesburg by the end of Wednesday (21 May).
Residents experienced low pressure or no water supply from Monday, after emergency repairs were carried out on a burst pipeline.
Pumping at the Eikenhof Pump Station was stopped to allow for repairs.
In an update, Rand Water shared that pumping resumed at 1 pm on Tuesday (20 May) after repairs were completed.
Group Chief Executive Sipho Mosai said the system will be fully recovered by late Wednesday afternoon.
