The Bundesliga was not without drama this season.
Despite not taking the Champions League, Bayern Munich were able to remain consistent and regain their title following an outstanding season.
Harry Kane also bagged the league’s Player of the Season award after scoring 26 goals in 31 league games.
Bayern Munich legend Thomas Muller also played his final game.
“There was a lot of consistency, and obviously the issues they had were minimal.”

Bayer Leverkusen finished just 13 points off the lead and will say goodbye to coach Xabi Alonso.
Despite this being their second consecutive second place finish, Alonso set a new Bundesliga record for successive away games without loss.
He is expected to take up the helm at Real Madrid.
“He played for Real Madrid, he played for Bayern and the circle now closes with Real Madrid again... that is a big step for him, but I think he has proven that he is a champion.”

The top five concluded with Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund, and SC Freiburg.
“What leaves me stunned is the rebirth of Borussia Dortmund and the drive of the last seven games, unbeaten in all seven… they clinched the last Champion’s League spot.”
