Two people died, 192 people were injured, and 559 people were arrested in France after PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) fans 'celebrated' the club’s first UEFA Champions League win of 5-0 against the Italian club Inter Milan.

A 17-year-old was stabbed in Dax, and a 23-year-old died after a scooter crash in Paris, reports confirm.

A police officer was also placed in a coma after suffering serious eye injuries when a firework hit him in the face.

Celebrations continued to turn violent with fireworks causing destruction, looting, and cars set on fire.

PSG condemned the violence, calling it unrepresentative of most fans.

France's President Emmanuel Macron also called the incidents 'unacceptable' and promised punishment for those responsible.

Videos on social media show PSG supporters running in front of cars on the motorway during the early stages of the second half.

"If this is what celebrations look like, I would hate to see what losing looks like... it looks like WW3, the apocalyptic future... it was very disturbing and disheartening to see football fan hooliganism," explains Friedman.
