CAPE TOWN - Power is yet to be restored to multiple streets in Belhar, Cape Town.

Currently, Piano Street, Trumpet Street, Waveren Street and De Mist Avenue are without power.

Eskom held a meeting with community leaders on a possible timeline for the electrical kiosks to be fixed.

Ward councillor, Willie Jaftha, has confirmed that two streets have had power restored, Trombone and Uiterwyk.

Jaftha said during their meeting that Eskom planned to progress by the end of this week.

"Well, they said that as soon the parts arrive, then they will repair the boxes but there was no definite time given."
