Mbenenge denies allegations that he attempted to expose himself to a junior staffer

JOHANNESBURG - Eastern Cape Judge President Selby Mbenenge has denied allegations that he attempted to expose his erect penis to a junior staffer in his division of the high court.
Judges secretary, Andiswa Mengo, alleges that in November 2022, Mbenenge summoned her to his chambers where he pointed her attention to his private area and asked her if she wanted to perform a sexual act on him.

Mbenenge is testifying before the Judicial Conduct Tribunal probing sexual harassment allegations against him in Sandton.
The senior judge said that the incident never happened.
"I look at it as a campaign to shame me. It is lies. It never happened. The complainant knows as much as I do that it never took place. I do not mind being accused of things I did, but not things that I did not do."
