Winter Playground Returns to Melrose Arch This School Holiday

This mid-year school break, Melrose Arch's beloved Winter Playground will return. Children ages 1 to 10 may explore, play, and release some mid-year tension in this magical winter paradise until Sunday, July 20.
The playground, which is open Thursday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., offers bright fun, planned activities, and lots of winter sparkle in one of Johannesburg's most popular family-friendly locations.
Entry is R70 per hour or R140 for unlimited play.
Purposeful Play Takes Centre Stage

Playtime at Le Petit Playhouse welcomes kids ages 2 to 7 for an interactive, imagination-driven experience during this mid-year school break (July 9–21). Through intentional, interactive play, this immersive activation is carefully crafted to foster creativity and enhance cognitive development.
Children are encouraged to enter a pretend world where play is the means of learning. With a range of carefully chosen toys and dress-up clothing, the activation offers a number of themed areas, such as a fire station, police station, veterinarian, beauty salon, medical center, café, and market, all of which foster young minds' innate curiosity.
For an entry fee of R190, each child enjoys two hours of full access to the activation

The cutting-edge Kgodumodumo Dinosaur Interpretation Centre is located deep within the Golden Gate Highlands National Park of the Free State, tucked away between towering mountains.
From Monday until September 30, SANParks will grant free admission to all South Africans in celebration of the opening of the Kgodumodumo Dinosaur Interpretation Centre.
