Police nab 2 men in Makhaza for drug possession

CAPE TOWN - Makhaza police have arrested two men for drug possession.
Early on Thursday morning, members of the Makhaza anti-hijacking team searched a premises in Block 65, where they discovered 250 grams of tik and two units of cocaine.
A 48-year-old foreign national was arrested for dealing in drugs.
A second arrest was made in the same area where more drugs were found.
Police spokesperson, Joseph Swartbooi, said both suspects were expected to appear at the Khayelitsha Magistrates Court once charged.
"Members arrested a 55-year-old male for dealing in drugs after discovering another large amount of drugs which included 115 full mandrax tablets, six half mandrax tablets, seven quarter mandrax tablets and 42 packets containing tik."
