Kaizer Chiefs has ended their pre-season tour with a loss to Dutch side FC Twente.

Kaizer Chiefs concluded its pre-season friendly tour with a 2–1 loss to Dutch side FC Twente.
The pair met on Wednesday (16 July) in the Netherlands. The Chiefs conceded the first goal before halftime.
Captain Inácio Miguel found the net in the second half, but the Dutch came back with the winning goal before the final whistle.
Out of five games, the AmaKhosi only managed one solid victory.

Speaking after the game, new signee Thabiso Monyane said the goals were conceded in ‘critical phases’ of the game.
“That was tough. We worked so hard to get back into the game, and then we conceded a goal so late… We learn from this. I always say, 'You never lose, you always learn.'”
