Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the process of improving your website’s visibility in search results to attract more traffic by targeting specific keywords and phrases.

SEO helps make your website more user-friendly, an important factor for both search engine rankings and a better experience for your visitors.

With the use of relevant terms am=nd keywords that people use when searching for information, an effective SEO can boost website traffic, enhance brand visibility, and generate more leads or sales.

But in a world where artificial intelligence (AI) can influence customer decisions, what purpose does SEO's serve?

Speaking to Stephen Grootes on The Money Show, Keegan da Costa, AI utilisation specialist at Too Many Robots says AI search engines are merely the evolution of SEO's.

"People are still searching, and they're always going to be searching, They used to be looking in Google and other traditional search platforms, and now the engine has changed and we need to evolve with it."
