Four, including a child, die in N11 crash near Loskop Dam

MPUMALANGA police are investigating a horrific crash on the N11 between Middelburg and Loskop Dam that left four people dead, including a young child.

The victims were travelling in a white Toyota Avanza that reportedly overturned on the busy route on Saturday.

According to the Provincial Department of Community Safety, three women and a young child were declared dead on the scene. The crash involved four passengers who died, while one passenger sustained serious injuries. The driver and one other person escaped with slight injuries.

Spokesperson Moeti Mmusi confirmed that investigations are ongoing. He stated that police have not ruled out reckless or negligent driving as a contributing factor in the crash.
