Alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack will be back in the dock on Wednesday at the Western Cape High Court.
Modack and 14 others face 122 charges for various crimes related to allegedly operating a criminal enterprise.
The charges include the murder of top cop Charl Kinnear, who was shot outside his Bishop Lavis home five years ago.

The State alleges Modack paid co-accused Zane Kilian to ping the whereabouts of Kinnear before his murder in September 2020.
Evidence shows Kilian started pinging Kinnear in June 2020, as well as alleged underworldfigures Jerome Booysen and the now-deceased Andre Naude earlier that year.
Modack denies instructing Kilian to ping Booysen and Naude at that time, saying he only sought Kilian's services later that year.
State prosecutor Greg Wolmarans questioned Modack about why Kilian was pinging deceased former Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) head General Andre Lincoln at the same time.
Modack told the court that Kilian admitted he was doing pinging work for Booysen and Naude before he started working for Modack.
