TS Galaxy aims for top eight league finish

With 24 points from 17 games, TS Galaxy head coach Adnan Beganovic is proud of the team’s progress thus far.

Speaking to 947’s Robert Marawa, he said the work continues to improve on strategy and player development.

This was after the side lost 1-0 to Sekhukhune United on Sunday, their second consecutive loss.

He expressed frustration with the team’s inability to capitalise on their dominance in possession and shots on goal.

He said that it is not just about teaching players to score but also having the right mentality.

Beganovic is aiming for a top-eight finish in the league for the team.

“This is a quality league, it is not easy to collect 24 points… I am still hungry for points, I want to push my team more,” he said.

TS Galaxy face Marumo Gallants on Sunday in the Nedbank Cup last 32 clash.

He remains optimistic about their chances, adding that a win could be a turning point in their season.

“We have a clear vision of what we need to do, and I think we have followed that vision,” he said.
