A 63-year-old woman is back in court for allegedly murdering her sister. Aletta Rose will be back in the Bellville Magistrates Court on Monday.

Rose was arrested last week after her 80-year-old sister's mutilated body was found in a house they shared in Belville South.

Last week, Rose made a brief court appearance linked to her only surviving sibling, Constance Scholtz.

During this appearance, she declined to apply for bail.

The elderly sisters reportedly moved together shortly before their brother's funeral. Days before the sisters were due to bury their brother, 80-year-old Scholtz was attacked.

Her sister confessed to the police about where she scattered her sibling's body parts around the house.
