Banyana Banyana crowned Three Nations Champions after 2-0 win against Zambia

On Tuesday, South Africa's women's national soccer team, Banyana Banyana, were crowned champions of the Three Nations Series after beating Zambia 2-0 at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Banyana Banyana achieved impressive victories over Botswana (3-2) and Zambia (2-0) during the series held from 28 May to 3 June 2025.
The series, which featured South Africa, Botswana, and Zambia, puts the squad ahead for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers happening next month.
Banyana finishes the tournament unbeaten, scoring five goals and conceding just two.
