What should have been a day of celebration turned into a day of horror when a man ploughed his car through Liverpool’s Premier League victory parade.

Forty-seven people were injured, including four children. Twenty-seven of those injured needed hospitalisation.

A 53-year-old British man believed to be the driver of the car has been arrested.

“The one eyewitness said he saw someone fly several feet into the air.”
