The chairperson of the Glenwood Ratepayers and Residents’ Association, Keyuren Maharaj, has developed an app to improve service delivery.
The CityMenderSA app is a civic reporting site with an interactive app where people can report, track, and view issues in their area.
The app is easy to use for residents and helps municipalities identify problems and assist them in improving service delivery.
It can tie into any municipality system in the country and is completely free to use.
Keyuren says this will not only help bridge the communication gap between residents and municipalities, it also allows residents to track how long it takes for issues to be fixed.
