The Bata Children’s Programme is a global initiative supporting vulnerable children through education, health, and dignity.
Bata South Africa has built libraries, donated school shoes, and helped children’s homes.
“As an organisation, we believe every child should be provided with opportunities to reach their full potential.”
- Lorraine Dyer, Country Manager - Bata South Africa
Ahead of Mandela Day, they are helping Malvern Children’s Home tackle a R1 million municipal debt.
Dyer says a portion of their proceeds from their Mandela Day shoe sale will go towards this cause.
“When corporates choose Toughees for their Mandela Day giving, they are not just choosing school shoes, they are helping children keep their homes running.”
