Disney to open theme park in Abu Dhabi

This will be Disney's first new park since 2016.

Walt Disney plans to open its first theme park in the Middle East.

The resort on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island will be built by The Walt Disney Company and local leisure and entertainment firm Miral.

Disney already has six theme parks across North America, Europe and Asia.
