Drones monitoring fire's movement in Table Mountain National Park
Thick pall of smoke hanging over the affected areas.
Lester Kiewit speaks to Jermaine Carelse, spokesperson for the City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Services about efforts to contain the fire.

Technology is helping firefighters see which direction the Table Mountain Fire is heading towards.
Carelse says they've got drones hovering in the air.
He says luckily no properties have been lost. Although more than 190 homes were evacuated as a precautionary measure. And a thick pall of smoke hangs over the area.
Ten cars and two motorcycles were destroyed or damaged in the fire burning near Silvermine Gate 1 yesterday.
Earlier today, SANParks said around 3 000 hectares of vegetation have been affected.
Carelse says they're concerned about the fire spreading to areas of the mountain that haven't burnt in about four or five years.
"We a bit worried about the wind change. It will be a north westerly wind and it will take the fire away from that burnt area. I don't know if you can recall, about two year ago we had that Simon's Town fire which jumped over Glencairn Expressway so, it was actually going toward that but if the north wester comes in, it will take it away." - Jermaine Carelse, spokesperson for the City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Services
Carelse says there are about 250 firefighters from various agencies involved. There are also four choppers deployed for water bombing.
