In an epic soccer battle at the FNB Stadium on Saturday 3 May at 3pm, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will face off in another edition of the Soweto Derby.
This clash will serve both as a rehearsal for their Nedbank Cup final meeting in Durban on 10 May, and is a significant moment in their respective league campaigns, explains Joni.
While the Amakhosi are fighting to secure a top-eight finish, the second-placed Pirates are attempting to chase down leaders Mamelodi Sundowns and deny them an eighth consecutive league championship.
"It's going to be an interesting one, because it's not every season where you get to watch these two giants of South African football face off back-to-back in a space of seven days."
