The Maletsatsi Foundation calls on the community to help this Mandela Day (18 July).
The non-profit provides family-based care for abandoned, abused and neglected children.
They will have five initiatives running on the day:
- Hygiene kits: Help restore dignity by sponsoring or hosting a packing session with your team.
- Archie’s Archive: Donate or pack 10 curated books for children and families in the hospital.
- Nappy and formula drive: Help supply nappies and formula for children under three.
- Paint the baby house: bring your brushes, they’ll provide the paint and get creative for a good cause.
- Help raise R67,000. 100% of the proceeds go to the children.
