Mayibuye iAfrika Concert celebrates Mzansi’s youth and rich history at Joburg Theatre

The third edition of the Mayibuye iAfrika Concert returns with a youth special on 28 and 29 June.
In partnership with the Joburg Theatre, the event pays tribute to South Africa’s rich cultural heritage, vibrant history and enduring spirit of Ubuntu.
The four-hour concert is directed by renowned guitarist and composer Billy Monama.
It includes a 20-piece orchestra and guest artists such as Zoe Modiga, Judith Sephuma, Maleh, Billy Monama, Berita and the legendary soul mbaqanga group, Soul Brothers.
Ngwenya says he is pleased that people still enjoy the Soul Brothers’ music decades later.
