Ray White (standing in for 702’s Bongani Bingwa) catches up on the latest world news with Adam Gilchrist.
Listen below:
Gilchrist says he expects the tit-for-tat exchanges between Israel and Iran to possibly dominate the G7 leaders summit taking place in Canada.
He says five people have been killed in central Israel by Iranian airstrikes overnight. And the latest figure from Iran's Health Ministry is 224 people killed there since Friday.
"We know that Israel is trying to target military and nuclear facilities but guess what they hit civilian buildings. There seems to be no doubt about it and therefore you wonder how many of those 224 are completely innocent lives lost."
– Adam Gilchrist, World View correspondent
Iran says it will not negotiate a ceasefire while under attack. Israel says it won't stop until Iran's nuclear capability has been neutralised.
