Online shopping tips: Which is the best card to use?

Online shopping is becoming increasingly popular in South Africa, but have you ever wondered what the best form of payment is?

Roelofse recommends using a credit card, because it can work in your favour in the event of a dispute...

Conversely, says Roelofse, with a debit card the money is taken out of your account immediately.

Of course the advantage of using a debit card is that you can't get carried away and spend money you don't have, 

"You can only spend what you have in your account with a debit card... so if you don't have the discipline, debit cards are a plus - but credit cards might be a better option for those who can control things."
