Water supply will be affected from 23 to 25 April due to maintenance.

Johannesburg Water will carry out planned maintenance at the Hector Norris Pump Station, resulting in low pressure to no water in parts of the city.

Water supply will be affected from 6 pm on Wednesday (23 April) until noon on Friday (25 April). 

The following areas will be affected:

  • Johannesburg CBD
  • Newtown
  • Selby
  • Jeppestown
  • Doornfontein

While water tankers will be distributed as an alternative supply, Johannesburg Water encourages residents to store water ahead of the maintenance.
