Samsung recently launched its latest Galaxy A Series, including the A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G.
These devices are available for purchase in South Africa.
The new series features Samsung's 'Awesome Intelligence', a suite of AI-powered features previously only available on flagship devices.
Awesome Intelligence brings powerful, fun, and easy-to-use tools that transform how users create, connect, and explore.
Samsung has also partnered with AURA to offer a personal emergency service called Samsung SOS+.
This service provides real-time emergency assistance through a network of medical and armed responders.
Users can access the service by dialling a dedicated SOS+ number, which automatically shares their location with AURA's system. Help is dispatched immediately, with a call-back from the SOS+ control centre.
"They're launching these devices as a budget phone that comes with a bodyguard... that's because from 1 May, if you buy any of these phones... you're going to get a 12-month subscription to a mobile armed-response service called AURA..."
