A sold-out crowd is set to gather at Moses Mabida Stadium in Durban on Saturday (10 May) for the Nedbank Cup final between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

Safety concerns were raised following the chaos that erupted when tickets went on sale on Monday.

Fans were left frustrated after facing several system glitches.

Netshiunda reassures attendees that the police will be hands-on on the day.

“We have beefed up our intelligence on the ground… We have been in touch with the stadium itself, and we are putting in enough security measures so that whoever is in the stadium and around the stadium feels safe.”
