Saudi Arabia denies reports that it will allow alcohol at FIFA World Cup
Several international sites reported that the country was considering relaxing its alcohol ban.

Rumours have emerged that Saudi Arabia has plans to legalise consumption of alcohol in 600 tourist locations for the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
Several sources claimed that wine, beer, and ciders, would be sold at licensed venues such as luxury hotels and resorts.
However, Saudi officials have denied the claims that there are plans to lift the ban, which has been in place for 73 years.

The once ultra-conservative country has lifted some of its restrictions in recent years to try and encourage international tourists to visit.
