The DHL Stormers play their last URC regular season game at DHL Stadium this Friday, 16 May 2025, against Welsh side Cardiff Rugby.
Scheduled for a 7 pm kick-off, the gates at DHL Stadium will open at 3:30 pm.
Tickets for the game are available at Ticketmaster.
The City would like to advise spectators on parking arrangements and other logistics for game day.
The game will be the DHL Stormers’ last game at home before the United Rugby Championship playoffs kick off in two weeks.
The main URC match will be preceded by a SA Rugby Under-21 Cup clash between the DHL Western Province U21 and Fidelity ADT Lions U21 at 15:45.
Due to limited parking in the Green Point Precinct, fans are encouraged to park in the CBD, hop on a free MyCiTi shuttle or take the Fan Walk to the stadium.
The free MyCiTi shuttle service will operate exclusively for ticket holders, running from the Civic Centre and Thibault Square stations to the stadium at 15:15.
The buses will take off from D.F. Malan Street in front of the Civic Centre MyCiTi station.
For spectators taking the bus, parking will be available at the Civic Centre from 15:00.
The parking bays, accessible from Hertzog Boulevard incoming and on Civic Road, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Paid parking is also available at the Parkalot on Jack Craig Street and at the Harbour Arch on Harbour Arch Boulevard.
Road closures:
Residents and motorists are advised of temporary road closures in the Green Point Precinct and surrounds on Friday afternoon until after the game.
This includes Fritz Sonnenberg Road, Stephen Way, Helen Suzman at the Green Point Circle and Granger Bay Boulevard.
"For the entire rugby season, the MyCiTi shuttle service has worked tremendously to reduce traffic congestion on the roads, and we are grateful to the thousands of spectators who have used the service to get to the stadium. For this final match of the URC regular season, we ask rugby spectators to continue the tradition of using the shuttle, especially for this Friday's game when our roads will be shared with other motorists exiting the city centre and those coming in for an evening in the CBD. The shuttle, with its dedicated lane to the stadium, will ensure that you beat the traffic and get to the stadium smoothly."
