1. Bantry Bay runner hit by alleged drunk driver, flung over side wall
A man has been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after hitting two runners on Victoria Road in Bantry Bay on Sunday morning.
Both runners, a man and a woman, were reportedly thrown into the air from the force of the impact.
The woman was flung over the wall on the side of the road leading to a rescue operation.
