The pretty girl from Joburg is on a history-making run. 

From the Grammys to Coachella and now the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

In June, Tyla will become the first African to host the award show in Los Angeles. 

Taking to her X account, she shared her excitement.

“I’m really about to host the Kids' Choice Awards!” 

This year’s awards are set to be a star-studded affair as Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar lead the nominations. 

Tyla is nominated for 'favourite global music star' and 'favourite music collaboration' for ‘Show Me Love’ with WizTheMac. 

She has been on a stellar run recently with the release of her new song ‘Bliss’ and news of her featuring on the upcoming ‘Smurfs’ movie soundtrack alongside Rihanna.

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards will be broadcast in South Africa on Wednesday, 25 June at 5 pm on Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305).
