A construction site in China has gone viral for its gigantic inflatable cover.

This white bubble-like structure costs around $50 million and can reportedly capture up to 90% of fine dust from construction and reduce noise by 40 decibels.

The dome is 50 metres high and covers 20,000 square metres.

It is also reportedly reusable, fire resistant and does not require any beams to support it.

“It looks like a jelly-like dome and wobbles as it pumps itself up.”
