Golf at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles was interrupted on Friday (2 May) afternoon after a small aircraft made an emergency landing on a fairway.

Golf at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles was interrupted on Friday (2 May) afternoon after a small aircraft made an emergency landing on a fairway.
As the plane flew overhead, first responders could be seen at the Pacific Palisades course, next to the single-engine aircraft that landed around 1 pm.
The plane had three people onboard and was headed to the Santa Monica Airport.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said the plane landed safely, no one was injured. The cause of the plane's surprise landing is not yet known.
“Holy schnikes,” one onlooker exclaimed.
