With so many people around the world having smartphones and access to the internet, we can see real-time footage of war that would never previously have been possible.
This has led to some truly surreal and dystopian footage going viral.
A recent viral video shows saxophonist Alain Otayek performing on a rooftop bar in Lebanon, while in the background, missiles can be seen raining down.

The contrast of the vibrant nightlife against the missiles that will bring death and destruction paints a surreal picture of the world we live in.
