Snyman says the team is jetlagged but happy to be celebrating the win in Cape Town, as the team landed recently.
He says the team had an 'up and down season', noting that the Asian-league of the championship 'wasn't the best'.
"Every match was tough," says Snyman.
"The beauty of the game at the moment is that everybody playing is really good. We always knew it was going to be a tough match, but the standout match in the tournament was the semi-finals against New Zealand. But we performed and put up a good performance against them in the semi-final."

"The credit must definitely go to the players... to be crowned champions in the end is a massive up for us... I'm very proud of them."

The team's long-term goal is to train for the 2028 Olympic Games.
Part of that training is to get the new generation of Sevens players and depth in the squad, so that more players have the opportunity to develop and play for Springbok rugby teams, says Snyman.
