The highly anticipated ICC World Test Championship Final will take place from 11 to 15 June.
The Proteas will be fighting to claim a maiden victory while Australia defends its crown.
The South Africans are outgunned and clear underdogs, but Fredricks believes we do have a chance if we put Australia under pressure early.
“They are also an ageing team, and their batsmen can also be brittle.”
- Jeremy Fredricks
He adds that Australia is going to come out ‘guns blazing’ and the Proteas need to be prepared.

However, he says South Africa plays well at Lord’s and has a strong history there.
“The important thing is to start well, to do well, and to apply as much pressure on them as they are going to apply against us and just be relentless.”
