The utility's infrastructure in Randburg, Linden and Protea Glen is still struggling.

Joburg Water noted an improvement in the water supply to Linden and Kensington B after its technicians configured the system to boost water supply to those areas.

Taps in Soweto and Blairgowrie in Randburg are still running dry, with no indication as to when the water woes will end.

Joburg Water said it's closely monitoring the system and would provide updates should there be any changes.

It assured residents that it would continue to supply water tankers to the affected areas.
