Opposition parties in Tshwane council dissatisfied with Brink’s State of the City Address
On Thursday, Brink unveiled his administration's key priorities for 2024, with crime, water woes, and vandalism of infrastructure being his focus points.

PRETORIA - Opposition parties in the Tshwane council have expressed dissatisfaction with the State of the City Address (SOCA) presented by executive mayor, Cilliers Brink.
On Thursday, Brink unveiled his administration's key priorities for 2024, with crime, water woes, and vandalism of infrastructure being his focus points.

He also assured Hammanskraal residents, in the north of Pretoria, that clean drinking water would be flowing from their taps by the end of 2024.
But the Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF)'s Benjamin Disoloane said he was not convinced.
"All the mayor has talked about [is] the issues of Hammanskraal. Everyone wants to talk about the issues of Hammanskraal just for political gain. I can tell you, you're going to interview me next year on the same thing and there won’t be nothing."
