Despite having 3 tankers, services at Germiston hospital still impacted by water supply disruptions

JOHANNESBURG - Despite three water tankers being dispatched to the Bertha Gxowa Hospital in Ekurhuleni, services have still been significantly impacted. 

Germiston South has been without water as a result of infrastructure maintenance by Rand Water. 

The facility's management said contingency measures have been put in place and engagements with relevant stakeholders continue. 

“We do apologise to those who are coming through for any inconvenience that they might have to endure as a result of the current supply interruption,” said provincial department spokesperson Motalatale Modiba.
