Home Affairs has made a massive turn around in the last three months, clearing 50% of their visa backlog that has been building for ten years.
This is great news for anyone looking to immigrate to South Africa.

De Saude-Darbandi gives credit to the new Minister Leon Schreiber and says it is exciting to have him in this position.

She says that economic migrants can benefit our country and economy, but there have been practical challenges with them getting work visas.
De Saude-Darbandi adds the general work visa process currently does not work without litigation and hopes this will change under Schreiber.
