It's the State's case, Jantjies attempted to use Modack to have her then-boyfriend Yannick Adonis who’s a fellow co-accused released on bail for a murder charge.
Judge Robert Henney confirmed Modack's alleged involvement with the State's witness Hawks officer, Captain Trevor Shaw.
"Which would mean Mr Modack would have financed the launch of a bail application for Yannick Adonis in favour of her getting somebody to do a hit."
Messages extracted from Jantjies' cellphone shows she made contact with at least three gunmen in November 2019 - to attack Kinnear's home in Bishop Lavis.
The matter will be back in court on Wednesday.
