Social media is having a debate after Mama Joy seemed to have pushed away a young fan’s poster on live TV.

Joy Chauke (AKA Mama Joy) is South Africa's sports superfan, going to each game decked out to represent South Africa with gees and the proudest South African outfits. 

Mama Joy is making headlines once again.

This time, it seems Mama Joy has pushed away a young fan with his poster which was blocking her from looking directly into the camera for live television at the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match between Bafana Bafana and Congo on Friday, 11 October.

Footage of the scene made its rounds on social media and most people were shocked by Mama Joy's 'joyless' behaviour towards the boy.

Of course, Mzansi reacted.

Some X users said, 'She said not on my airtime.'

'She threw it down without flinching.'

'Crazy.'

'That was rude towards the young chap...'

'Mama b*'

'This Mama Joy character gives narcissism a new meaning.'

Others came to Mama Joy's defence saying, "No love is lost between Mama Joy and the kids. Their behaviour was disruptive and was decisively addressed. They eventually appeared on TV."
