Imagine going from living on the street, never sure where your next meal will come from, to cooking with gourmet ingredients in the finest restaurants in the world.

This is the reality of Jameson Stocks, who overcame extreme hardship to become a world-renowned chef.

His culinary journey started when he was still a teenager with a trial alongside Peter Templehoff,

When Stocks was just 24, he was awarded National Restaurant of the Year award.

He is currently in South Africa to explore our cuisine and meet with local food creatives.
