Man shot dead in Monte Vista after being followed home from ATM

CAPE TOWN - Police said that a 49-year-old man was shot dead after withdrawing a large sum of money from an ATM in Monte Vista.
Police spokesperson Malcolm Pojie said that three suspects driving a white Toyota Corolla accosted the victim after following him to his home in Mostert Street at about 1.30pm on Friday.
Pojie said that an altercation ensued, during which one of the suspects shot and killed the victim on the sidewalk.
Pojie said that police were following all possible leads to trace the suspects.
